Akron, Ohio, United States, March 2025 – Valarie Birone has been appointed as Vice President of Human Resources at Quanex, bringing extensive experience in human resources leadership, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning.
Valarie Birone has been with Quanex for over a year, previously serving as Human Resources Director. In this role, she played a key part in enhancing HR operations, talent development, and workforce strategy, positioning her for this leadership transition.
Before joining Quanex, Birone held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at Vibrantz Technologies Inc. for over a year, where she focused on HR strategy, leadership development, and employee engagement.
She also served as Director of Human Resources at Parker Meggitt for more than three years, where she led organizational change initiatives, talent acquisition strategies, and HR policy development.
Her longest tenure was at Alcoa and Arconic, where she spent over two decades in various HR leadership positions, including Senior Manager, HR Operations, and Senior HR Manager. During this time, she developed expertise in HR operations, workforce planning, and talent management at a large-scale industrial manufacturing organization.
Valarie Birone holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Kent State University.
