Columbus, Ohio, United States, April 2025 – Anthony Hartman has stepped into the role of Regional Head of Human Resources, North America at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of precision instruments. In his new position, Anthony will be responsible for shaping and executing HR strategies across the North American region, enhancing organizational effectiveness and talent engagement in alignment with the company’s innovation-driven mission.
Anthony brings with him a diverse and impressive track record in global human resources leadership. Prior to joining Mettler-Toledo, he served as Vice President, HR – Americas & Business Partner Adhesive Solutions at Synthomer for over three years, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic HR alignment across business units.
Before his tenure at Synthomer, he was with Avantor as Senior HR Director for a little over a year, contributing to transformative leadership efforts within the HR function. His career includes a significant stint at CSL Behring, where he served as Senior Director, HRBP, Global Manufacturing, Operations & Planning for almost four years, helping to steer HR operations across key global manufacturing hubs.
Anthony also spent over six years at PPG Industries, where he held multiple leadership roles including Director HR for Science & Technology, Specialty Coatings & Materials, and international roles such as HR Director for EMEA and Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership positions at GSK, Pittsburgh Glass Works, and GE Lighting, and began his HR journey at Hamilton Sundstrand.
