Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, May 2025 — Devulapalli Kiran Kumar has been appointed as Associate Director – Human Resources at Yokohama-ATG, bringing nearly 25 years of diverse experience in human resources, employee relations, industrial relations, talent development, and administration.
In his new role based in Visakhapatnam, Kiran will oversee end-to-end HR functions and drive strategic people initiatives aligned with Yokohama-ATG’s growth and operational goals. His return to the Yokohama Group follows a prior successful stint as Deputy General Manager of HR, Admin & IR at Yokohama Tire Corporation, where he led location-wide HR efforts for the Vizag plant.
Before rejoining the organization, he was associated with Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited as part of the Corporate HR team, leading international and domestic talent acquisition, C&B, employee engagement, and digitization of HR processes.
Earlier in his career, Kiran served in senior HR leadership roles at Imerys, Adani Group, and Kanoria Chemicals, managing HR and admin responsibilities for greenfield and operational manufacturing units. He began his professional journey with Vedanta Group, where he transitioned from Operations and Maintenance to Human Resources through Vedanta’s internal leadership drive.
At Yokohama-ATG, Kiran is expected to further strengthen the company’s HR capabilities, foster a performance-driven culture, and support sustainable workforce development at a time of continued expansion.
