Hyderabad, Telangana, India, May 2025 – Vimta Labs Ltd, a leading contract research and testing organization serving the global bio/pharmaceutical sector, has announced the appointment of Vinod Upadhyay as Vice President – Human Resources. In his new role, Vinod will be responsible for overseeing the complete spectrum of human resources functions, including strategic workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and HR compliance aligned with the company’s growth and regulatory commitments.
Vinod brings nearly two decades of rich HR leadership experience. Before joining Vimta Labs, Vinod Upadhyay served as Director – Human Resources at Jodas Expoim Pvt. Ltd., where he led strategic HR initiatives and organizational development programs over a tenure of more than three years. His leadership contributed significantly to building a performance-driven culture and strengthening the HR framework of the organization.
Prior to that, he spent nearly 10 years at ACG Worldwide, where he held the position of Deputy General Manager & Head – HR & Admin. In this role, he led change management, talent strategies, and administrative functions at scale, contributing to major transformations within the organization.
Earlier in his career, Vinod worked at Tata BlueScope Steel Limited as Manager – Human Resource, where he drove initiatives around organizational effectiveness and capability building. He began his career at Suzlon Energy Limited as Assistant Manager – HR, gaining early exposure to talent acquisition, learning and development, and industrial relations.
Vinod holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, and a Master’s in Personnel Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
