Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Abhishek Haldar has taken over as the Head of Human Resources at bigtec Private Limited, a pioneering MedTech firm developing portable and accurate diagnostic tools to tackle infectious diseases and improve global health outcomes. In his new role, Abhishek will focus on strengthening people practices to foster a high-performance culture and support business growth.
Abhishek brings with him nearly two decades of HR leadership experience. Prior to joining bigtec, he served for over four years as Head of Human Resources at Pandorum Technologies, where he led people strategy, organizational development, and HR compliance across India and the U.S. operations.
Earlier, Abhishek worked as an Independent HR & OD Consultant for about three years, collaborating with organizations such as Infosys and an FMCG firm to drive employee performance and learning transformation initiatives across geographies.
Before his consulting stint, Abhishek was the Head of Human Resources at SCOPE T&M for over a year, where he led HR policy development and talent practices for an engineering firm. Prior to that, he worked on strategic HR projects for organizations including Haldia Petrochemicals, Hindalco, Feedback Infra, and CenturyPly during his consulting years.
His earlier roles include working with M. N. Dastur & Co. as Senior Manager – HR, PwC as a Consultant on HR transformation projects across Southeast Asia, and a brief internship with Thales in the U.S. He also served as a Graduate Administrative Associate at The Ohio State University, where he supported literature research on change management.
