Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, June 2025 – Ghazala Shoaib has joined Strategic Systems International (SSI) as Vice President People and Culture. In her new role, she will lead the global people strategy across the company’s offices in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, focusing on building a high-performance culture, strengthening talent development, and driving people-centric initiatives aligned with SSI’s mission of delivering advanced analytics and data-driven software solutions.
Ghazala brings nearly two decades of HR leadership experience across technology and software sectors, with deep expertise in organizational development, HR operations, and talent transformation on a global scale.
Before joining SSI, Ghazala served for over three years as Head of People and Organization at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where she led HR strategies for the Pakistan region and contributed to the integration of people and systems post-acquisition of Mentor Graphics. Her work was instrumental in supporting business alignment, capability building, and transformation programs.
Prior to that, she spent more than 12 years at Mentor Graphics, where she served as Human Resources Manager and played a pivotal role in shaping the HR framework of the Pakistan R&D site. Ghazala collaborated with regional and global teams across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the U.S., and successfully led programs in recruitment, compensation, performance management, training, and organizational restructuring.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at Vopium A/S, where she established the HR department from the ground up, and at i2c Inc, where she managed end-to-end HR operations for over 300 employees across multiple business units.
