Oakville, Ontario, Canada, June 2025 – Najlaa Rauf has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Sentinel Dock & Door Solutions, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey of building empowered and high-performing teams across its growing portfolio. In her new role, Najlaa will spearhead the company’s people and culture strategy, focusing on scalable HR frameworks, employee engagement, and leadership development across Canada’s leading dock and door companies under the Sentinel umbrella.
Najlaa brings with her over eight years of leadership experience at Spark Power Corp., where she held progressive roles, including Vice President, People & Culture, Director of People & Culture, and Human Resources Manager. During this time, she led the organization through major phases of growth, overseeing HR operations for a diverse and distributed workforce. Her initiatives contributed significantly to enhancing culture, leadership capability, and organizational alignment with Spark Power’s strategic business goals.
Earlier in her career, she served as Student Engagement Coordinator at the Goodman School of Business – Brock University, where she led several student development and leadership programs, created recruitment initiatives for undergraduate programs, and coached more than 100 student leaders. Her experience in program design, leadership training, and relationship building laid a strong foundation for her later corporate HR success.
Prior to that, Najlaa held contract and coordination roles at organizations such as Niagara Region Public Health and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where she managed event-based volunteer programs and strategic engagement campaigns, helping strengthen community presence and donor relationships.
Najlaa holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University, which further enhances her strategic capabilities in aligning people strategies with business success.
