Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, June 2025 – Divya Jain Uppal has been appointed as Vice President – Human Resources and Administration at Shalimar Corp Limited, a leading luxury property development group headquartered in Lucknow. In her new role, Divya is responsible for leading the end-to-end HR strategy aligned with the company’s business goals—spanning talent management, performance culture, employee engagement, L&D, compensation, and administration.
Before joining Shalimar Corp, Divya Jain Uppal took a brief career break of over one year, focusing on family priorities. Prior to this, she served as General Manager – Human Resources at MKU, where she managed the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, including HRIS implementation and talent strategies, in a short but intense leadership stint.
Divya’s most prominent tenure was with Hero MotoCorp, where she spent over 24 years in various leadership roles, most recently serving as Regional HR Business Partner – Central & East Zone. In this role, she partnered with cross-functional business units across eight Indian states, managing the full employee lifecycle of over 500 employees, and led initiatives like career conversations, succession planning, dealer capability building, and strategic HR advisory.
Earlier, she held the role of Regional HR Business Partner – North Zone for about six years, leading employee lifecycle management and HR business partnering. Her journey at Hero began as Manager – Human Resource Development, where she spent 15 years handling employee engagement, learning & development, and talent acquisition.
