Rochester, NY, United States, June 2025 — Shannon Struzik has joined SWBR as Chief People Officer, bringing with her over two decades of diverse leadership experience in organizational development, strategic planning, and employee engagement.
Prior to this role, Struzik spent more than six years at Leonard’s Express, where she served as Vice President of People & Development, following her earlier role as Director of Organizational Development, Marketing, and Strategic Initiatives. Her leadership there was marked by the successful integration of people-centric strategies with business operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and workforce alignment.
Struzik’s earlier career included a significant tenure at Dixon Schwabl Advertising, where she held the position of Associate Vice President, Special Events, and was also a Certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner. Across nearly seven years, she led teams in event management, cultural engagement, and personal development initiatives. Before that, she served as Director of Community Engagement and Development at the Ad Council of Rochester and spent 11 years at the Rochester Broadway Theatre League, building foundational expertise in development, production operations, and stakeholder engagement.
Armed with a Master’s degree in Business and Sport Administration from Canisius University, Struzik is widely recognized for her ability to align people strategies with organizational values and goals—qualities that position her well for her new leadership role at SWBR.
