Pune, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 — Ganesh Baliga has been appointed as Managing Director and Head of Citi India Solutions, a key leadership move that underscores Citi’s commitment to deepening innovation and operational excellence in its India-based technology and solutions hubs. In his new role, Ganesh will oversee Citi’s technology strategy and delivery across its facilities in India, which serve as integral parts of the company’s global infrastructure.

Ganesh brings over two decades of experience within Citi, having led numerous high-impact initiatives in global markets including London and Pune. Most recently, he served as Global Program Manager for FIT Transformation within Banking International and Client Technology, where he was instrumental in driving strategic technology modernization. His prior leadership as Global Head of Architecture and SVP – Application Development highlights his strengths in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and operational governance.

Baliga’s career trajectory reflects a deep engagement with technology management and talent leadership. At Citi, he has managed global delivery teams, directed securities services platforms, and overseen large-scale partnerships with Indian IT firms. His return to head Citi Solutions Centers – India signals a focused push on strengthening client-centric platforms and advancing Citi’s global tech capabilities from India.
