Pune, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Sanchita Kumar has started a new role as AVP || CHRO | Chief of Ethics & Compliance | Head CSR at Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. (FIAPL), a prominent joint venture between Tata Motors and Stellantis. In this multifaceted position, Sanchita will drive the company’s people strategy, ethics, compliance, and corporate social responsibility agenda as FIAPL strengthens its leadership in India’s automotive sector.
Sanchita joined Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. (FIAPL) over a year ago and has quickly progressed from AVP || CHRO | Chief of Ethics & Compliance to now also head CSR, bringing a strategic and holistic approach to human resources, compliance, and organizational values. Her leadership is shaping FIAPL’s talent agenda, regulatory adherence, and ethical business practices at a critical time of transformation and growth.
Prior to joining FIAPL, Sanchita was Zonal HR Head at Pernod Ricard for nearly a year, where she oversaw HR operations, strategic workforce planning, and business partnering in a fast-paced consumer goods environment. Her experience here reinforced her capabilities in managing diverse teams and leading HR interventions aligned with business priorities.
Sanchita spent over five years at Haier Appliances India Pvt Ltd as Sr. GM HR – Haier Industrial Park, where she focused on tactical training, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives to support industrial operations. Her efforts in building high-performance teams and managing complex HR challenges were instrumental in supporting business growth.
She has also held key HR leadership roles at LG Electronics as AGM HR for nearly five years, and at Electronica Finance Limited as AVP-HR & Admin, leading HR policy design and process automation across a network of branches. Earlier roles include Manager-HR at Tal Manufacturing Solutions Limited (A Tata Entp), GM-HRD at Diffusion Engineers, and HR positions at Le HR Solutions Ltd and VM Pvt Ltd, where she developed a solid foundation in people management and business partnering.
Sanchita holds a degree from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, underpinning her expertise in strategic HR leadership and business management.
