Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Paychex has announced the appointment of Shalini Seshadri as Head of Human Resources in India. In this pivotal leadership role, Shalini will be responsible for driving the full spectrum of HR functions and developing strategic initiatives to align talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness with the company’s ambitious growth agenda.
Prior to joining Paychex, Shalini Seshadri served as Vice President, Human Resources at State Street for over eight years, leading HR strategy and business partnering, and playing a key role in talent management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational consulting across multiple locations in India. Her work included designing and executing people practices that empowered business growth and enhanced the employee experience.
Earlier in her career at Thomson Reuters, Shalini was the Talent & Development Manager, Human Resource Business Partner, where she provided HR support for over 800 employees, focusing on performance management, talent acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and the rollout of manager capability programs across India.
Before Thomson Reuters, Shalini held HR leadership roles at Barclays and Adventity, where she was instrumental in establishing HR operations in new geographies, developing and automating HR processes, and implementing key employee relations and engagement mechanisms.
Her professional journey began with SAP Labs India and Symphony Teleca, where she worked on HR consulting, compensation and benefits, talent management, training and development, and performance management across diverse business units and locations.
