Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 — Swati Dalal has been appointed as the Managing Director and Additional Director of Zydus Healthcare Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. With over three decades of experience across India’s pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape, Swati brings with her deep industry insight, commercial expertise, and a legacy of transformative leadership.
Prior to joining Zydus Healthcare, Swati served as Managing Director at Abbott India Ltd, where she also held prominent roles including Commercial Director – General Medicine, Managing Director – Primary Care (EPD India), and General Manager – Nutrition International. At Abbott, she was instrumental in leading the growth of multiple divisions, enhancing commercial excellence, and shaping strategic business development initiatives.
Swati began her career at Wockhardt Ltd. and went on to hold positions at Boots, continuing through its transitions into Knoll, Solvay, and eventually Abbott. Her steady rise through these organizations is a testament to her strong domain knowledge and adaptive leadership in a rapidly evolving sector.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from PKM Kundnani College of Pharmacy and a postgraduate degree in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai. With a strong grounding in both science and management, Swati’s leadership is expected to bring a balanced, strategic focus to Zydus Healthcare’s expanding operations.
