New York City, New York, United States, June 2025 – Kelli Gooden has begun her new role as Vice President Human Resources at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment). In this strategic leadership position, Kelli will oversee all facets of HR, driving talent management, performance, and employee engagement for one of the world’s leading live entertainment organizations.
Kelli brings to MSG Entertainment a wealth of experience in human resources, talent development, and employee relations. Most recently, she served as People Partner Lead (HRBP) at Google in New York, where she led HR business partnering and talent initiatives, supporting large and diverse teams through growth and transformation.
Previously, Kelli spent over three years at Citi in the New York City area, serving as Senior Vice President, HR Advisor and Vice President, Talent & Diversity Management. In these roles, she played a key part in shaping talent and diversity strategies, coaching leaders, and advancing inclusive workplace practices.
Prior to Citi, Kelli built her HR expertise at American Express, where she held roles including Director, HR Business Partner, HR Manager – Global Commercial Services, and HR Manager – Global Diversity & Inclusion. Her early career includes significant HR leadership and talent management experience at Deloitte (both in consulting and talent generalist roles), as well as campus recruiting, and she holds advanced degrees (MBA/MILR) from Cornell University.
Across her career, Kelli has demonstrated a strong commitment to employee engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, and DEI strategy—impacting teams at some of the world’s most recognized organizations.
