Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, June 2025 — Heather Batchelor has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at Potawatomi Ventures, marking a significant step forward for the organization as it continues to scale its diverse portfolio and strengthen its internal culture. This appointment follows her impactful tenure as Vice President of Human Resources at the company, where she played a key role in shaping people strategies and advancing workforce development.
Heather brings more than two decades of progressive HR leadership experience across the marketing, advertising, and economic development sectors. Prior to joining Potawatomi Ventures, she served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Laughlin Constable, a leading advertising agency, where she guided people operations through periods of significant organizational transformation over an eight-year tenure.
Earlier in her career, she spent over 18 years at GMR Marketing, rising to the position of Vice President – Human Resources. In this role, she led HR strategy for a national workforce and supported high-growth initiatives, cultural alignment, and strategic workforce planning.
At Potawatomi Ventures, Heather will now spearhead all HR functions, focusing on talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and employee engagement as the company builds its position as a key economic force for the Forest County Potawatomi Community.
