During his six-year tenure, he was an active member of the ESG Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council.

Before that, Shujath held leadership positions at Parexel, serving as India General Counsel, Ethics & Compliance Officer, and Company Secretary, where he managed complex legal, regulatory, and ethics portfolios in the life sciences sector. His earlier experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel & Company Secretary at International Paper, where he advised the board on governance, compliance, and capital structuring while supporting greenfield expansion projects.

Previously, Shujath was Associate Vice President – Head Legal & Company Secretary at Deloitte, where he led the legal and corporate affairs function for nearly a decade, covering operations, litigation, compliance, and employee relations. His early career also included legal roles at FANUC India, Valtech, and Coats, with a focus on manufacturing, consulting, and digital services.

In his new role at Fourth Partner Energy, Shujath is expected to align the legal strategy with business growth, advise on complex regulatory frameworks including Open Access, ISTS, and Green Hydrogen policies, and ensure robust compliance across markets.
