Alpharetta, Georgia, United States, June 2025 – Avanos Medical has announced the appointment of Camille Chang Gilmore as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. In her new role, Gilmore will lead the company’s global people strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership development, and the overall employee experience. Her leadership is expected to be central to advancing a workplace culture where employees feel valued, empowered, and inspired to deliver on Avanos’ vision of getting patients back to the things that matter.
Prior to joining Avanos Medical, Camille Chang Gilmore spent nearly 21 years at Boston Scientific, where she held a range of HR leadership roles, most recently as Vice President, Human Resources and Global Chief Diversity Officer. In this capacity, she was a core member of the HR Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing HR strategies and programs for the Interventional Cardiology business and leading Boston Scientific’s global diversity strategy. Her experience also included developing HR programming for over 4,000 employees and driving people strategies for the company’s highest-revenue division.
Before her long tenure at Boston Scientific, Camille served as Manager, Statewide Recruitment Services and Training & Development Services for the State of Oregon, where she directed agency training, talent management, and statewide HR policies. She was recognized for creating the state’s first strategic learning plan and talent management strategy, and was a frequent keynote speaker at HR events.
Earlier in her career, Camille was Human Resources Program Manager at IBM Global Services, where she managed compensation programs for the Global Financing business and developed recruiting strategies, market pricing, and change management solutions. Her expertise in HR analytics and talent strategy was foundational to supporting business objectives across the organization.
