Weston, Florida, United States, June 2025 – Apotex Corp. has announced the appointment of Christina Schiller as Head of Human Resources – US Market, further strengthening its US leadership team. Christina will be responsible for leading HR strategy and operations for the US business, aligning people practices with Apotex’s mission to deliver high-quality, affordable medicines across the country.
Prior to joining Apotex, Christina Schiller served as Director, People and Human Resources Operations at Health Care District of Palm Beach County. In this role, she managed multiple HR functions including Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, and Employee Relations. She played a pivotal role in optimizing HR systems and processes, driving leadership development programs, enhancing performance review systems, and launching innovative employee engagement and retention initiatives. Christina also led major system transitions, including the migration from ADP to Oracle HCM and the adoption of Microsoft Viva Glint for employee engagement, significantly improving data accuracy, reporting, and the overall employee experience.
Earlier, Christina was Senior Human Resources Manager at Tribune Publishing Company in Florida, where she served as a strategic business partner to executive teams, supporting over 500 employees across various business verticals. She developed and delivered talent management programs, succession planning, employee engagement initiatives, and played a key role in organizational change and policy development, including flexible time-off and remote work policies.
Before Tribune, Christina held HR leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Group, where she partnered with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and engagement for over 600 employees, and at Apollo Education Group, where she provided HR direction across six states for University of Phoenix campuses. She began her career at PepsiCo, rapidly progressing to HR Supervisor, where she managed all aspects of HR at a unionized manufacturing facility, developed comprehensive training programs, led continuous improvement projects, and supported contract negotiations.
