In this role, Bolles will focus on enhancing Tesco Media’s end-to-end operating model while helping scale the company’s retail media platform. She will play a key role in driving operational excellence and enabling the organization to deliver stronger value for brands, agencies, and customers.

Commenting on the appointment, Tash Whitmey, Managing Director at Tesco Media, said:
“Lauren brings outstanding experience from one of the world’s most advanced retail media organisations and she will ensure we are operating at the scale and pace of our ambitions, so that we continue delivering exceptional value for brands, agencies and customers.”

Bolles joins Tesco Media from Walmart Connect, where she spent the past five years and most recently served as Group Director and Head of Business Strategy & Operations (BizOps). During her tenure, she led strategic and operational initiatives aimed at scaling Walmart’s retail media capabilities and improving cross-functional business performance.

Earlier, she worked with Bain & Company as a Director, where she focused on e-commerce acceleration, pre-IPO value creation, and helped establish retail media consulting expertise within the firm.

Prior to that, she built experience across digital marketing and media strategy through roles at PMX Agency, Acquirgy, and PHD / Resolution Media, where she worked on search marketing, digital campaign strategy, and performance marketing initiatives for global brands.

Earlier in her career, Bolles also held marketing leadership roles at Cartier, where she served as Marketing Manager – Accessories and Product Manager – Watches & Leather Straps, overseeing product launches, marketing strategies, and sales forecasting for luxury product categories.

She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing from New York University, with a concentration in Marketing Analytics.

With a strong background spanning retail media, consulting, and digital marketing, Lauren Bolles brings extensive expertise in operational strategy, business transformation, and scaling media platforms.
