Greater Philadelphia ,United States, March 2026 — NTT DATA has promoted Swati Basu to the role of Managing Director, recognizing her leadership and extensive experience in client relationship management, transformation strategy, and global delivery.
In her new position, Basu will play a key role in strengthening client partnerships and driving strategic growth initiatives across key accounts while supporting NTT DATA’s mission of delivering technology-led transformation for global enterprises.
Prior to this promotion, Basu served as Client Executive at NTT DATA, where she worked closely with enterprise clients to build strategic relationships and deliver value-driven digital transformation programs.
Before joining NTT DATA, Basu spent more than two decades with Genpact, where she held several senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Vice President – Global Client Relationship Manager, overseeing large enterprise accounts and driving strategic initiatives to strengthen client engagement and service delivery.
Earlier, she worked as Vice President & Transformation Partner, where she led transformation portfolios for enterprise clients, managing cross-functional initiatives and mentoring delivery teams including senior leaders, directors, and consultants. Her responsibilities included driving large-scale transformation programs and building long-term client relationships that supported revenue growth and operational excellence.
Prior to that, Basu served as Assistant Vice President – Transformation & Consulting Services, where she focused on business case development, transformation consulting, and strategic program delivery for global clients.
Earlier in her career, she held roles including Senior Customer Service Executive at Convergys and worked in Guest Relations at Taj Mansingh Hotel, gaining early experience in customer engagement and service management.
