Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, North Carolina, June 2025 – Lindsey Dunn has been named Chief Human Resources Officer at Melmark, taking on the top HR leadership role across all divisions of the multi-state nonprofit. In her new position, Lindsey serves as the chief strategist of the Human Resources function, developing and executing people strategy aligned with Melmark’s overall business goals and mission.
Lindsey brings to this role nearly a decade of leadership at Melmark, where she most recently served as Senior Director of Human Resources for Pennsylvania and the Carolinas. In this capacity, she led the HR team in administering critical policies and programs in recruitment, training, development, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Her strategic approach to HR and her collaboration with the senior leadership team have driven key initiatives around talent management, succession planning, and the development of progressive benefits and recognition programs.
Prior to her senior leadership at Melmark, Lindsey held roles of increasing responsibility including HR Manager and Employment Specialist. She played a pivotal role in guiding managers through complex employee relations, overseeing all recruitment processes, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements. Her hands-on experience in investigating and resolving employee matters, as well as her leadership in strategic hiring, established a robust talent pipeline for the organization.
Before joining Melmark, Lindsey gained valuable experience at Elwyn as Talent Acquisition Manager, Associate Director of Children’s and Adult Services, and Program Director for Residential Services. She was responsible for talent strategies, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight in behavioral health and developmental services—experience that proved foundational for her future HR leadership in the nonprofit sector.
