Before taking on the Group Chief Talent Officer position, Ghukas distinguished himself as Senior Director, Global Head of Talent at Digitain. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in developing and implementing a holistic talent strategy that spanned multiple business units and geographies. He focused on leveraging data-driven hiring processes, introducing automation to streamline recruitment, and benchmarking market trends to ensure that Digitain stayed ahead in the competitive talent landscape. His efforts resulted in measurable improvements in hiring velocity, quality, and retention, as well as elevated employer branding across international markets.
Ghukas’s career prior to Digitain was shaped by his leadership roles at innovative firms such as Tribe.xyz, where he directed a large team of recruitment professionals across Europe, and at Picsart, where he transformed talent acquisition operations, launched Picsart Academy, and built sophisticated talent analytics dashboards. He also made significant impact at Surprise HR, SoftConstruct, and Incredo, consistently improving recruitment outcomes, reducing attrition, and leading talent development initiatives that supported organizational transformation and growth.
His early experience includes a mix of hands-on and strategic HR roles, such as Head of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Manager, where he partnered with CEOs and senior executives to build HR strategies, execute talent programs, and design learning and development opportunities. Ghukas has also served as a guest lecturer with USAID and provided consulting expertise through platforms like Fiverr, reflecting his dedication to talent innovation, mentoring, and knowledge sharing in the HR community.
