New York, United States / Paris, France, July 2026 — Coty has announced the appointment of Séverine Charbon as Chief People and Purpose Officer, effective September 1, 2026. She succeeds Priya Srinivasan, who has decided to step down for personal reasons after leading Coty’s global People and Purpose function, including leadership development, employee engagement, and the company’s talent agenda.
Séverine joins Coty with more than 25 years of international leadership experience in talent strategy, organizational transformation, and people leadership across global markets. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer – International at Publicis Groupe, where she played a pivotal role in centralising the global People function outside the United States. She also served on the operating executive committees of Publicis Media and Publicis EMEA, contributing to global business and talent strategy.
Prior to this, Séverine was Global Chief Talent & Transformation Officer at Publicis Media, where she helped establish the newly formed global media organisation by integrating major media networks across 70 markets and a workforce of 23,000 employees. She designed global leadership programmes, talent frameworks, succession planning processes, and end-to-end employee experience initiatives that became foundational to the organisation’s long-term growth and transformation.
Earlier in her career, Séverine held the role of Global Chief Talent & Transformation Officer at ZenithOptimedia Group, leading global people strategy across 60 markets, before serving as Chief People & Transformation Officer at VivaKi, where she successfully integrated seven agencies in France during a major organisational transformation. She began her long career with Publicis Asia Pacific as People & Network Integration Director, leading the integration of more than 15 acquisitions across 14 markets and helping build the company’s regional footprint. Before joining Publicis, she worked in corporate communications, consulting, and public affairs with several organisations in Paris and Singapore.
Her appointment reflects Coty’s continued commitment to strengthening its people strategy, leadership capability, and organisational culture as the company continues its transformation and long-term growth journey.
