Wrocław, Dolnośląskie, Poland, July 2025 – Marta Wojtera has stepped into the position of Head of People & Culture Poland at Volvo Group, where she will lead the HR agenda for nearly 3,000 Volvo Group employees across the country. In this new role, Marta oversees all aspects of HR, including Labor Relations, Total Reward, Health & Safety, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Employer Branding. She is set to drive the people strategy in collaboration with leaders and colleagues across Volvo Group entities in Poland, including Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Financial Services, and more.
Marta’s career with Volvo Group spans over fourteen years, during which she has held a succession of key roles with increasing responsibility. Prior to her latest appointment, she served as Head of Global Center, where she was instrumental in driving global transformation projects, building high-performing teams, and optimizing operations. Her impact as Vice President Shared Service Center for over eight years established her as a leader adept at aligning people practices with strategic business goals.
Earlier, Marta progressed through roles such as Director Shared Center, Director Global Key Users, and Global Manager SAP HR Key Users within Volvo Group, demonstrating expertise in HR technology, process excellence, and talent development. Her career began in HR operations, where she held foundational roles as HR Administration Supervisor and Coordinator, which gave her a deep understanding of core HR processes and employee engagement.
Outside Volvo Group, Marta contributed to the development of future leaders as a Lecturer at the Executive MBA Program at the Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences and gained early HR experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Marta holds a Master’s degree in Psychology/Human Resources from the University of Wroclaw, providing her with a strong foundation in people science and leadership. Her extensive experience and educational background uniquely position her to lead the people agenda for Volvo Group in Poland at a time of transformation and growth.
