Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Himanshu Kapadia has stepped into the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Sportz Interactive, Asia’s first sports-focused data, technology, and content solutions company. In his new position, Himanshu will lead people strategy across the organization with a sharp focus on building a high-performance, inclusive culture, scaling systems for growth, and powering the next generation of sports innovation through talent and leadership development.
Prior to joining Sportz Interactive, Himanshu Kapadia held multiple senior HR leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company over a period of nearly seven years. Most recently, he served as Director HR – India HR Lead, where he played a strategic role in translating corporate vision into regional HR plans and was instrumental in fostering an inclusive workplace culture. He also led HR partnerships for global teams, driving initiatives in leadership development, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
Before Disney, Himanshu worked with DBS Bank for over four years, where he served as Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition & Campus Relations Lead, and later as HR Business Partner for Corporate and Transaction Banking. He played a key role in shaping the talent agenda and executing digital bank recruitment strategies across India.
Earlier in his career, Himanshu held pivotal HR roles at HDFC Bank, Unilever, and ABN AMRO Bank, where he developed deep expertise in HR transformation, talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee engagement. His contributions to major industry mergers, policy innovation, and performance systems have been widely recognized, and he has been featured multiple times in the SHRM Top 30 HR Influencers in India.
Himanshu is also a respected academic contributor, having served as a Visiting Faculty at H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, teaching HR and Industrial Relations. His experience across sectors—including media, finance, banking, retail, and telecom—positions him uniquely to lead Sportz Interactive’s people function at a time of significant expansion and innovation.
