Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2025 – Puja Mahajan has been promoted to Director and Head – Leadership Hiring at KPMG India, a recognition of her outstanding contributions to talent acquisition and executive recruitment over the past three and a half years at the firm. In her expanded role, Puja will lead the strategic hiring of senior leaders, strengthening the firm’s talent capability across functions and geographies.
Over the past three and a half years at KPMG India, Puja has served as Talent Acquisition Leader, driving hiring excellence across functions, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering closely with business leaders to deliver on growth mandates. Her elevation to Director marks a key milestone as she now takes charge of leadership hiring mandates across the firm.
Prior to KPMG, Puja worked at Honeywell for nearly three years, where she served as Staffing Leader. She played a pivotal role in establishing the staffing function for new business lines and drove strategic hiring ramp-ups across various technology and enterprise verticals. She also led university relations for the APAC region and championed inclusion and diversity initiatives.
Earlier, she spent over six years at Accenture, progressing from Recruitment Specialist to Recruiting Manager for Accenture Strategy. She led PAN-India strategy and consulting hiring across multiple industries, developed customized talent acquisition strategies, and built strong stakeholder relationships with senior leadership.
Puja began her career at Dell International Services, where she worked for over seven years as a Senior Staffing Specialist, contributing to the ramp-up of Dell’s Mohali and Delhi sites and establishing scalable recruitment strategies, vendor management systems, and training programs.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources from Himachal Pradesh University (2002–2004), equipping her with a strong academic foundation for her long and impactful career in talent acquisition.
