India, July 2025 – Priyanka Roy has joined CGI as Director – Consulting Delivery, taking on the role of HR Head for the Global Capability Center (GCC) of a leading U.S. bank powered by CGI. In her new capacity, Priyanka will be responsible for driving HR strategy, fostering talent transformation, and delivering an employee-first culture to support the GCC’s sustained growth.
Before joining CGI, Priyanka worked at Wipro for over 7 years, where she most recently served as Head – Function Human Resources for the Quality Engineering and Testing service line, leading HR for over 11,000 associates. She also played a key role in driving DEI and Rewards & Recognition initiatives for the FullStride Cloud Business Unit and served as a member of the Internal Committee on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH).
Earlier, she spent nearly 11 years at KPIT, where she held multiple HR leadership roles. These included HRBP responsibilities across geographies such as Europe, managing HR integration for acquired entities, leading talent management programs, and driving organization development initiatives like chatbot adoption, employee surveys, and job architecture standardization.
She began her HR journey with stints at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Cognizant, where she gained comprehensive experience in performance management systems, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic HR operations across various geographies, particularly Europe and India.
Priyanka holds a PG in Human Resources from Institute of Management, Nirma University, and brings nearly two decades of HR leadership experience spanning IT services, pharma, consulting, and global delivery models. Her appointment at CGI comes at a critical juncture as the GCC continues to expand its global capabilities and talent impact.
