Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Rahul Iyer has been promoted to the role of Head Compensation & Benefits – Non Pharma at Abbott, marking a significant milestone in his 7+ year journey with the organization. In this new position, he will lead compensation strategies and programs across the non-pharma business verticals, ensuring alignment with Abbott’s global HR philosophy and growth trajectory.

Over the past two years, Rahul served as Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits at Abbott, where he played a key role in compensation consulting, global mobility, job evaluations, governance, and wellness strategy. He led annual merit and performance-linked incentive processes and supported HR compliance and benefits programs across India.

Prior to that, he held the position of Manager, Compensation & Benefits for over a year, providing insights on pay structures, salary benchmarking, and compensation governance. He also drove initiatives in global mobility and job evaluation alignment, enabling data-informed decision-making for HR and business leaders.

Before specializing in C&B, Rahul worked as Manager – Business HR for nearly four years, leading end-to-end HR processes, talent reviews, appraisal cycles, engagement programs, and HR project rollouts across India. His experience provided him with a holistic understanding of HR functions, making him an effective HR partner.

Rahul began his professional journey with stints at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. and as an HR Trainee, where he focused on policy creation, analytics, and HR reporting, laying the foundation for his future specialization in rewards and strategy.
