New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2026 – HT Media Group has announced the expansion of responsibilities for Paras Kaushik, who currently serves as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and leads Group IT. In his expanded mandate, Kaushik will now additionally oversee the VCCircle platform and the Events (IP) Business across the Hindustan Times and Mint mastheads.
This strategic move underscores the Group’s continued focus on integrating people, technology, and content ecosystems to drive future growth. Paras Kaushik has been a key architect in HT Media’s transformation journey, playing a pivotal role in aligning organizational capabilities with digital innovation.
In his new role, Kaushik will focus on strengthening community-led platforms, enhancing audience engagement, and building scalable, high-impact intellectual properties (IPs). His leadership is expected to further accelerate the Group’s ambitions in creating influential platforms that serve evolving consumer and enterprise ecosystems.

Paras Kaushik has been serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at HT Media Group for close to six years, where he has led enterprise-wide HR transformation while also overseeing Group IT, driving a strong integration of people and technology capabilities.
Prior to this, he spent over a year with Motherson as Head of Group Human Resources, contributing to strengthening HR frameworks in a global manufacturing environment.
A significant part of his career was with the Aditya Birla Group, where he spent nearly 17 years across diverse leadership roles. His experience included serving as Head HR for Lifestyle Brands at Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, VP HR for Learning, Leadership & Organization Development at Birla Carbon, and Head HR for Pantaloons and Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, among other key assignments across India and international markets including the Philippines and the United States.
He began his professional journey with Hindalco Industries as a Management Trainee, eventually moving into leadership roles in learning and development, before progressing into broader HR leadership responsibilities across the Group.
