Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2025 — Bhaskar Basu has taken on the role of Country Head – Enterprise Partnerships at Microsoft India & South Asia, marking a strategic advancement in the company’s partner-led innovation agenda. In this pivotal leadership role, Bhaskar will steer Microsoft’s collaborative efforts with Global System Integrators (GSIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), enterprise solution builders, and software development firms to accelerate customer transformation and drive AI-powered business outcomes across the region.
With a rich 14-year journey at Microsoft, Bhaskar has led a series of transformative initiatives across product marketing, partner development, and modern workplace solutions. Most recently, as Senior Director – Modern Work Solutions & Devices, he played a central role in scaling Microsoft 365 and Surface adoption among commercial enterprises, contributing significantly to the evolution of hybrid work in India. He has also served as Country Head – Modern Work and Microsoft Surface, as well as Director – Strategic Partnerships, Director – Enterprise Services Sales, and Chief of Staff to the MD, underlining his comprehensive leadership in both strategy and execution.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Bhaskar held key leadership roles at Sun Microsystems, overseeing sales and strategic partnerships in India and Asia South. He began his career with consulting stints at Oracle and Publicis Sapient, building a strong foundation in enterprise technology, product marketing, and digital transformation.
An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best All Round Performance, and a graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bhaskar is widely recognized for his ability to align partner ecosystems with enterprise growth, innovation, and customer success.
