Before Spear Bio, Jen was Principal Recruiter at BillionToOne, a high-growth genetic testing start-up. She played a critical role in the company’s commercialization efforts, scaling the commercial team by over 200% and designing competency-based interview processes to ensure alignment between hiring and business goals.

Prior to that, she served as Director of Recruiting at Gravity Sourcing Inc, where she partnered with elite firms in hedge funds, private equity, AI/ML, and life sciences to fill C-suite and complex global positions. She brought the same rigor and strategic focus to each client engagement, earning a reputation for her precision and high success rate in senior-level placements.

Earlier, Jen was Director, Talent Acquisition – 4Catalyzer at Butterfly Network, Inc., where she helped build the HR function from the ground up, leading full-cycle recruitment globally and overseeing performance evaluation and compensation processes across the portfolio of life sciences and medical device start-ups.
