Madrid, Spain, July 2026 — VASS has announced the appointment of Paco Bermudez Atalaya as its Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience in technology and consulting, Paco joins VASS to lead the company’s next phase of global growth, innovation, and intelligent digital transformation. His appointment comes as VASS continues to strengthen its position as a trusted technology partner, helping organizations create business value through data, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation.
Paco joins VASS after an accomplished 29-year career at Capgemini, where he held several of the organization’s most senior executive leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President – Global Delivery Centers while also serving as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Capgemini Spain, leading the Group’s global delivery operations and supporting strategic business growth across international markets. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in enhancing delivery excellence and driving large-scale transformation initiatives across the global organization.
Earlier, Paco served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Capgemini Southern and Central Europe, overseeing operations across France, Spain, Italy, and 11 additional Central European countries, while simultaneously serving as Non-Executive Chairman of Capgemini Spain. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini Spain, where he successfully led the company’s Spanish business, strengthening market position and accelerating growth. His earlier leadership journey included roles as Deputy CEO Southern Europe Cloud Infrastructure Services, Managing Director – Infrastructure Services Spain, Managing Director – Business Technology Services, Head of Outsourcing Services, and several business leadership positions with full P&L responsibility, demonstrating deep expertise in infrastructure, cloud services, outsourcing, application management, and business transformation.
Before joining Capgemini, Paco began his professional career at Equant as a Telecom Engineer and Project Manager, where he developed his technical foundation in telecommunications and project management. Alongside his executive responsibilities, he also served as an Advisory Board Member at PiperLab, contributing strategic guidance to technology-driven innovation initiatives.
Throughout his career, Paco has earned a reputation for combining operational excellence with strategic vision, successfully leading large multinational organizations, driving sustainable business growth, and building high-performing teams. His extensive international leadership experience positions him well to guide VASS as it continues expanding its global footprint and delivering intelligent digital transformation solutions for clients worldwide.
