Selangor, Malaysia, July 2026 — Hilti Group has announced the appointment of Michelle Rohini Gomez as Head of HR Shared Services Center, marking a significant milestone in her decade-long journey with the organization. In her new role, Michelle will lead the establishment of Hilti’s new global HR Shared Service Center in Malaysia, with a focus on building a people-first organization that delivers exceptional employee services, drives continuous improvement, and supports the company’s global growth strategy.
Michelle brings more than 17 years of human resources experience, including over 10 years with Hilti Malaysia, where she has steadily progressed through a series of leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Head of Human Resources, leading the company’s people strategy and partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, talent development, and employee engagement. Her leadership contributed to advancing Hilti Malaysia’s people agenda while supporting business performance and long-term workforce development.
Prior to leading the HR function, Michelle served as Human Resource Business Partner, where she partnered with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational objectives. Earlier, as Recruitment Specialist, she played a key role in strengthening talent acquisition and employer branding, helping attract and develop high-performing talent to support Hilti’s continued growth. Her progression across HR business partnering, recruitment, and strategic leadership reflects her deep understanding of the company’s culture and people priorities.
Before joining Hilti, Michelle built valuable experience with Lazada Group as Senior Associate – Recruitment, where she managed recruitment initiatives for one of Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce organizations. She also served as Human Resource Executive at Mesiniaga Alliances Sdn Bhd and began her HR career as HR & Recruitment Officer at Recruit Express Services Sdn Bhd, gaining expertise across recruitment, employee engagement, employer branding, and HR operations.
Michelle also holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from HELP University, an academic foundation that complements her people-centric leadership style and strengthens her ability to foster employee development, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. As she steps into her new global leadership role, she is well positioned to lead Hilti’s HR Shared Services transformation while building scalable, customer-focused people operations that support the company’s worldwide workforce.
