Springdale, Arkansas, United States, July 2025 – Stephanie Magnuson has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources (Poultry & Cobb) at Tyson Foods, a global leader in protein-based food products. In this elevated role, Stephanie will lead the HR strategy for two of Tyson’s largest and most critical divisions—Poultry and Cobb—supporting thousands of team members, strengthening leadership development, and driving workforce excellence across operations.
Stephanie has spent the past six years at Tyson Foods, progressing through a range of senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Strategic HR Partner for Enterprise Functions, International & McDonald’s, where she drove people strategy across cross-functional business units. Prior to that, she held key HR positions including Vice President, Strategic People Partner – Corporate HR, Senior Director – Global HR Transformation, and Director, HR for Enabling Functions, helping transform the company’s HR operations and aligning talent strategies with global growth initiatives.
Before joining Tyson, she worked at Murphy USA for over two years, where she was Head of Talent Acquisition and Senior Manager for Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, overseeing hiring for corporate functions and over 1,400 retail locations. Her leadership during this period helped streamline recruiting processes and drive operational scalability.
Stephanie also spent nearly 12 years at Walmart, where she held multiple roles such as Senior HR Manager/Business Partner, Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, and HR Project Manager, working closely with divisions including Legal, Finance, and Global Governance. Her experience in one of the world’s largest retail organizations provided her with deep expertise in enterprise HR strategy, recruitment operations, and organizational development.
