Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands, August 2025 – Paulien Fens-Reitsma has started a new role as Chief Human Resources Officer at IJssel Technology Services. In this leadership position, she will oversee the company’s HR strategy, talent development, and organizational effectiveness, supporting IJssel’s commitment to continuous innovation and sustainable production improvement.
Prior to joining IJssel Technology Services, Paulien led her own consulting practice Menskant, where she specialized in organizational development, leadership, and future-ready HR strategy. Over the past three years, she collaborated with organizations to build learning-oriented cultures and unleash talent through visionary leadership.
Before founding Menskant, Paulien was Director of Organizational Development & HR at Mepal, a Certified B Corp, where she helped drive values-based organizational transformation and employee engagement.
Earlier, she spent over two years at Kruitbosch as Manager of Organizational Development, HR, Corporate Marketing & Secretary to the Supervisory Board (RVC). Her role spanned HR, corporate communication, and governance functions, with a focus on aligning people strategy with corporate purpose.
Paulien spent over eight years at VanDijk (The Learning Network) in various roles including Project and Program Manager, Manager of Customer Operations, and HR Business Partner. Her experience ranged from operational leadership to strategic HR and transformation initiatives, contributing to VanDijk’s evolution as a leading educational services provider.
She began her HR journey with roles at MEPD and Vishay Intertechnology, including nearly five years as HR Manager at Vishay, where she built foundational HR processes in a highly technical manufacturing environment.
