Boyd, transitioning from his role at Peloton, will oversee all facets of Chobani’s communications, including external media relations, internal communications, impact communications, and corporate reputation, reporting directly to Founder and CEO, Hamdi Ulukaya.

Hamdi Ulukaya expressed enthusiasm about Boyd joining the team, highlighting the importance of Boyd’s role in Chobani’s ongoing growth and the integration of La Colombe into Chobani’s brand family. Ulukaya praised Boyd’s consumer connection capabilities and his alignment with Chobani’s people-first and community-centric values, viewing Boyd as a pivotal addition to forwarding Chobani’s mission of making good food accessible to all.

Ben Boyd brings over two decades of communications expertise, having led Peloton through significant transformations and developed a notable skill set in guiding mission-driven brands through the public discourse. Boyd’s appointment is seen as critical in navigating Chobani’s narrative as the company continues to expand its impact and product offerings, particularly in light of acquiring La Colombe, a leader in the coffee segment sharing Chobani’s commitment to quality and social impact.

Upon accepting his new position, Boyd expressed excitement about contributing to Chobani’s legacy of growth and community service. He emphasized his commitment to leveraging the communications function to further Chobani’s transformative influence within the food and beverage sector and its community engagement efforts.

Nishant Roy, whom Boyd succeeds, will focus on his role as Chief Impact Officer at Chobani, concentrating on combating child hunger and maximizing the social impact of the La Colombe business.

About Chobani: Founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, an immigrant to the U.S., Chobani has emerged as a leading next-generation food maker, dedicated to producing high-quality, nutritious food that is accessible to more people. Chobani’s product line includes yogurt, oat milk, creamers, and following the acquisition of La Colombe, cold-pressed espresso and lattes. Chobani operates with a deep commitment to social responsibility, focusing on eradicating child hunger, supporting underrepresented groups, and environmental stewardship. With manufacturing facilities in New York, Idaho, Michigan, and Australia, Chobani’s products are widely available across North America and selected international markets, making it America’s No.1 yogurt brand and a testament to the power of food as a force for good.
