Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Preeti Vyas has joined Mythik, the tech-first global entertainment company, as President – Content Strategy, Partnerships and Consumer Products. In this transformative leadership role, Preeti will be responsible for shaping the company’s storytelling vision, forging strategic partnerships, and scaling consumer-facing verticals like merchandise, games, and immersive experiences—propelling Mythik’s mission to become the “Disney from the East.”
Prior to joining Mythik, Preeti Vyas served as CEO and President of Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) for six years, where she led a successful reinvention of India’s most iconic comic book brand. Under her leadership, ACK and Tinkle expanded from a legacy print platform into vibrant digital-first brands, launched three successful apps, and entered the transmedia universe with audio, AR/VR, gaming, merchandise, and strategic licensing partnerships. With over 3.5 million copies sold annually, ACK also gained global readership in 40+ languages and made notable international inroads.
Before leading ACK, Preeti founded FunOKPlease Publishing, a highly successful independent children’s book publishing house. Her award-winning titles like The Adventures of Toto the Auto and Your Turn Now redefined Indian content for kids and established her as a leading voice in children’s publishing. Several titles were co-published with Penguin Random House, Scholastic, and HarperCollins, with total sales exceeding 1.5 lakh copies.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in Pantaloons Retail (Depot), where she conceptualized and launched Depot, one of India’s first multi-category book and stationery chains, and served at Future Group, Globus Stores, Crossword Bookstores, and Sony Music India, driving brand, merchandising, and operational excellence.
