Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Nishant M. Sharma has been appointed as Chief Business Development Officer at Tradeswift Group, where he will lead business growth, strategic alliances, and client expansion initiatives across the company’s equity, commodity, and currency broking platforms. In his new role, Nishant will focus on strengthening Tradeswift’s nationwide footprint, driving innovation in business development, and deepening the firm’s partner and client ecosystem.
Prior to joining Tradeswift Group, Nishant served as Director – Investment Advisory at Renaissance Investment Advisors, where he played a pivotal role in shaping strategy, acquiring new partners, and managing profitability for the firm. He successfully broadened the firm’s advisory capabilities while building strong partner engagement platforms through marketing and seminars.

Earlier, Nishant held the role of National Sales Head at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd., where he led a large team of relationship managers and advisors across 76 locations in India. He was responsible for new client acquisition, revenue growth through investment products, and cross-selling initiatives that significantly scaled the business.
Before Motilal Oswal, Nishant contributed to SBI Securities as Head – Prime Channel, where he drove open market sourcing and successfully captured a large share of the brokerage market within the SBI Group. His leadership also included pioneering third-party product distribution within the Group, de-risking its dependence on banking channels.
Nishant’s earlier career spans senior leadership roles at Karvy Stock Broking, where he was Head of Product Marketing for over eight years, and PL Capital Group (Prabhudas Lilladher) as Head – Online Trading, where he built customer development and online trading capabilities. He also worked at Religare Securities as Associate Vice President, and at ICICI Securities as Regional Product Manager, where he began his professional journey in financial services. His career foundation was laid at BILT as a Project Intern.
With more than two decades of experience across investment advisory, sales leadership, business alliances, and product marketing, Nishant is well-positioned to accelerate Tradeswift Group’s growth journey and solidify its standing as a leader in India’s broking industry.
