Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – Vaibhav Mehrotra is pleased to announce his new role as President – Operations and Supply Chain at Hamilton Housewares (Milton). With an extensive background in supply chain and operations management, Vaibhav brings a wealth of experience to this new position. In his role, he will be responsible for overseeing the operations and supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and drive growth.
Vaibhav’s most recent role was at General Mills, where he served as Supply Chain Director India & Plant Manager for over six years. During his tenure, he held various positions, including Head – Manufacturing India and Plant Manager in Nashik. His responsibilities included leading manufacturing operations, driving operational excellence, and managing third-party logistics and vendor relationships.
Before General Mills, Vaibhav worked at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as the Location Head for over seven years. He led an API Pharma site, focusing on bulk drugs and high potent oncology products. His expertise in operational excellence and team leadership significantly contributed to the site’s success.
Vaibhav also served at Goodyear as Head Planning & Production for almost two years, where he headed planning and production for bias and radial tires. His role involved strategic planning, production management, and team leadership to ensure efficient operations.
Earlier in his career, Vaibhav was at ICI, Uniqema as Production Manager for over six years, leading sales and operations planning, raw material planning, and production processes. He also worked at INDIAN ALUMINIUM COMPANY LIMITED as a Manager, gaining multifaceted exposure in production, process, new product development, and business development.
