Bangkok, Thailand, September 2025 – Darika Chaloeithoi has been appointed as Vice President of People and Culture at Absolute Hotel Services (AHS), one of Asia and Europe’s fastest-growing hospitality management companies. Based in Bangkok, Darika brings over two decades of strategic HR leadership in the hospitality and aviation sectors, making her uniquely equipped to drive AHS’s people strategy across its expanding global footprint.
In her new role, Darika will lead the company’s human capital initiatives, focusing on talent development, succession planning, training and development, HR strategy, and cultural transformation. Her appointment reflects AHS’s deepening commitment to fostering inclusive, high-performance workplaces across its luxury, upscale, and economy brands, including U Hotels & Resorts, Eastin Hotels & Resorts, Eastin Estates, and Travelodge Thailand.
Darika most recently served as Head of Human Resources Business Partner – Hotel at Asset World Corporation, where she spent over two years advancing HR transformation initiatives for the hotel business. Prior to that, she held the role of Group Director of Talent and Culture for The Erawan Group PCL, overseeing HR for Mercure, Ibis, and Hop Inn Thailand brands, where she championed culture-building and talent alignment across a diverse hotel portfolio.
Her leadership at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok as Director of Human Resources was instrumental in aligning HR strategy with business outcomes, promoting a collaborative culture, and guiding organizational transformation. At Thai Smile Airways, she further demonstrated her capacity for strategic HR leadership, developing comprehensive HR strategies that supported talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee retention.
Darika also held senior HR roles at IHG Hotels & Resorts, where she supported multiple hotel properties including Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park, Hotel Indigo Bangkok, and Holiday Inn Pattaya. She played a key role in pre-opening operations, HR framework implementation, and succession planning. Her early experience includes roles at Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai and Anantara Resort Hua Hin, where she built foundational expertise in L&D, SOP development, and HR systems.
