Calgary, Alberta, Canada, September 2025 — Rising Edge Group has announced the appointment of Nicole Arienzale, CPHR, M.Ed as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, she will oversee the company’s people strategy, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and total rewards to support Rising Edge Group’s continued growth in the power industry.
Nicole brings more than two decades of HR leadership experience across utilities, energy, and consulting. Most recently, she served as Director of Total Rewards at AltaLink, where she was responsible for designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies that enhanced employee engagement and retention.
Before AltaLink, Nicole spent nearly seven years at FortisAlberta, where she served as Director of Human Resources, leading strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, and cultural development. Her work was instrumental in aligning HR practices with business transformation and organizational performance.
Earlier in her career, Nicole spent more than 17 years with AltaGas Ltd., where she held multiple leadership roles including Director of Corporate Human Resources and Organizational Development and Director of Total Rewards and Organizational Development. She also spearheaded the implementation of HR and payroll ERP systems and drove large-scale organizational development programs.
Nicole began her career as a Pension and Benefits Consultant at Mercer, where she specialized in defined benefit pension plan administration across sectors such as education, telecommunications, healthcare, and energy. Her strong academic foundation, combined with her Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and Master of Education, underpins her strategic and people-focused leadership style.
