Brady M. Murphy, TETRA’s President and Chief Executive Officer, shared his enthusiasm about Angela John’s appointment, stating, “We are very pleased to welcome Angela to our board as a great fit for our company. Angela’s extensive experience as well as her chemicals and engineering background aligns very well with our strategy on advancing aqueous chemistry solutions and driving forward our energy expansion initiatives. We are very excited to have her join during this historic period for the Company, where her expertise will add to the strong breadth and depth of the board.”

Angela D. John’s career is notable for her focus on clean energy business development and commercialization strategies, most recently serving as the Director of Innovation and Strategy for New Energy Ventures with The Williams Companies, Inc. Her tenure at BP p.l.c. was marked by leadership in various capacities, emphasizing renewable fuels development among other areas. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. Since August 2021, Ms. John has also been serving on the board of Parkland Corporation, contributing to its environmental, safety, and sustainability committee, as well as its human resources and compensation committee.

TETRA Technologies’ strategic appointment of Angela D. John to its Board of Directors underscores the company’s commitment to driving forward its energy expansion initiatives with a focus on sustainable and innovative solutions. Her extensive experience and strategic vision are expected to play a crucial role in steering the company through the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.
