Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Spandan Rathod has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at SarvaGram. In this role, she will spearhead the company’s people strategy, focusing on building talent, leadership development, and employee engagement as SarvaGram scales its mission of empowering rural households through financial services, risk mitigation, and productivity tools.
Spandan has been with SarvaGram since early 2024, where he first served as Vice President – Corporate HR, playing a key role in shaping HR policies, talent strategies, and organizational development initiatives. Her elevation to CHRO reflects the significant impact her has already made in aligning people practices with business growth.
Before joining SarvaGram, Spandan was a Partner at VirtualCHRO.co, advising organizations on human resources strategy, culture building, and leadership development. Her entrepreneurial stint allowed her to contribute to a diverse range of clients and strengthen her strategic HR advisory skills.
Earlier, she served as Head of People Experience, Talent, L&OD, and Internal Communication at Nium, where she led global HR initiatives across learning, leadership development, and engagement. Prior to that, at DHL SmarTrucking, she directed learning and development programs for performance improvement, onboarding, and sales capability building.
Spandan also spent over three years at Maersk Global Service Centres as Site Lead & COE Senior Partner, where she drove learning strategies impacting 13,000+ employees across multiple global sites. Her HR career further includes impactful roles at Firstsource, Domestic & General, and earlier technical and leadership development positions that laid the foundation of her expertise.
Spandan holds an advanced management education credential from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, equipping her with strong leadership and strategic HR capabilities to complement his extensive professional experience.
