Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2025 – Genpact has announced the appointment of Sumit Mattey as Vice President. In his new role, Sumit will focus on building strong partnerships, driving customer value, and shaping outcomes that matter as the company continues its journey of digital innovation and transformation.
Sumit joins Genpact after serving as Engagement Delivery Senior Manager at Salesforce, where for more than a year he played a key role in driving customer success and shaping large-scale engagements. He acted as a trusted advisor, aligning business outcomes with Salesforce capabilities, building stakeholder relationships, and mentoring junior professionals. His accomplishments included leading high-impact teams, earning the Customer Success Award, achieving 4× perfect customer scores, and serving as President of the Salesforce Toastmasters Club.
Prior to Salesforce, Sumit was Salesforce Practice Head at Espire Infolabs, where he steered strategic direction, client engagement across global markets, and delivery excellence. His leadership resulted in revenue growth, best-practice adoption, and cross-functional collaboration across ANZ, EMEA, NA, and Singapore.
Earlier, he spent two years at KPMG India as Manager, overseeing a 45-member team, delivering large-scale solutions, and generating significant business revenue. He also held senior technology leadership positions at Cloud Certitude, Singapore Press Holdings, Bont, R Systems, and Fakhruddin Holdings LLC, where he contributed to enterprise architecture, digital transformation, CRM implementations, and operational excellence. Sumit began his career with early roles at Unitech Limited, Astadia, and Speedo Corporation, laying the foundation for his expertise in project delivery and client engagement.
With over 22 years of experience spanning IT, consulting, and leadership, Sumit brings a strong mix of business acumen, customer success expertise, and digital transformation leadership to Genpact.
