Doha, Qatar – Monika Batra has recently been named the Head of Recruitments at Katara Hospitality, marking a significant milestone in her extensive career in human resources and recruitment. With over a decade of experience in the field, Batra brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.
Prior to joining Katara Hospitality, Batra sharpened her skills at BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services in Qatar, where she led recruitment and talent management from December 2022 to April 2024. Her role involved orchestrating large-scale employee volunteering projects and enhancing CSR initiatives, which significantly improved company operations and stakeholder relationships.
Batra’s experience also includes significant roles at beIN MEDIA GROUP and AIPL, where she was responsible for end-to-end recruitments and developing strategic HR initiatives that align with corporate goals. At DAMAC Properties and Builder.ai, she focused on talent acquisition and setting up high-performing teams across multiple geographies, which included major expansions and hiring for technology startups.
Her earlier career also includes impactful stints at major organizations like OYO and TT Electronics, where she handled leadership hiring and strategic HR management, respectively. These roles have honed her abilities in stakeholder management and establishing HR functions that support business growth and operational excellence.
