USA – Kendra Carroll has recently taken up the mantle as the Senior Director of Global Talent at Graduate Management Admission Council™ (GMAC™), marking a new chapter in her already distinguished career in human resources and organizational development.
Prior to her new role at GMAC™, Carroll served as the Chief People Officer for the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States and Responsibility.org from November 2021 to April 2024. In this capacity, she was integral to steering HR operations, Talent, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts, developing a People Plan that aligned with the organizations’ five-year strategic goals. Her leadership was pivotal in enhancing operational efficiencies and fostering a supportive corporate culture.
Before her tenure at the Distilled Spirits Council, Carroll held significant roles at Smiths Group plc, where she started as the Vice President of Organization Development & Corporate Functions in September 2019. Here, she managed HR Business Partners and collaborated with senior executives to align organizational structures with business strategies, playing a key role in the company’s transformation initiatives.
Her earlier roles include Regional Vice President of Talent for the Americas at Smiths Group, where she developed comprehensive talent and succession planning frameworks that significantly supported business objectives across the region.
Throughout her career, which spans over 15 years, Carroll has demonstrated a robust capability in enhancing talent management systems, organizational design, and leadership development, making her a valuable asset to any leadership team.
