Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — Arvind Limited has appointed Ramkishore R as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources & Industrial Relations (AVP – HR & IR). In his new role, he will lead the Human Resources and Industrial Relations function for Arvind’s Garment Business, supporting the company’s people strategy, employee relations and HR transformation initiatives across the business.
Ramkishore joins Arvind Limited with nearly 16 years of diverse HR and Industrial Relations leadership experience across manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, renewable energy and consumer goods organizations. His career has been marked by leading large-scale HR transformations, strengthening employee relations, driving industrial harmony and building people capabilities across multi-plant manufacturing environments.
Prior to joining Arvind, Ramkishore served as ER Head – India at Coats for around two years, where he led employee relations and HR transformation initiatives during a major business restructuring across multiple manufacturing facilities, while strengthening industrial relations, compliance and workforce engagement.
Earlier, he worked as HR Head – India Manufacturing at General Mills India for around one and a half years. During his tenure, he led HR governance, capability building and compliance initiatives while supporting the establishment of new manufacturing operations and strengthening HR systems across the company’s expanding manufacturing network.
Before that, Ramkishore spent approximately four years with Reckitt, where he progressed through HR leadership roles including Assistant Manager – Human Resources and Factory HR Manager. He played a key role in workforce transformation, industrial relations, compliance and organizational restructuring across multiple manufacturing locations.
Earlier in his career, he served as Manager – HR at United Breweries Ltd. for around one year, contributing to HR operations, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness during a period of operational transformation.
Prior to these roles, Ramkishore spent more than four years with Tata Power Solar Systems Limited and also held HR leadership positions with Advik Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd., SYSCAP India and KALPA ELECTRIKAL PVT. LTD., where he developed extensive expertise in human resources, industrial relations, statutory compliance and manufacturing HR.
Ramkishore has further strengthened his leadership credentials through executive education. He completed the PGDM for Emerging CHROs from XLRI Jamshedpur, in addition to the institute’s Executive Development Programme in Human Resources. He also holds an MBA in Human Resources from Anna University.
