Irvine, California, United States, September 2025 — Chris Zegarelli has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Silvaco Inc, a global leader in TCAD, EDA software, and SIP solutions for semiconductor design and digital twin modeling. In this role, Chris will lead the company’s financial strategy and governance as it continues to expand its footprint across semiconductor, photonics, and emerging technology markets.
Before joining Silvaco, Chris served as Senior Vice President Finance at Infineon Technologies, where he played a key role in financial leadership across global operations. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer at GaN Systems Inc., contributing to its growth in advanced semiconductor technologies.
Earlier, Chris held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Thermal Engineering International Inc., where he managed financial operations for industrial technology solutions. He also served as CFO at indie Semiconductor, where he built the finance function from the ground up, strengthened supply chain and investor relations, and helped drive a fourfold increase in revenue.
Chris spent over nine years at Broadcom, where he rose through senior finance leadership roles including Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations. His career began with finance roles at Qualcomm, Intel Corporation, and the International Finance Corporation, giving him broad expertise across technology, finance, and global markets.
