Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Abhishek Maheshwari has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of OneAssist Consumer Solutions, where he will lead the company’s ambitious expansion and AI-driven innovation strategy. With over two decades of leadership experience across consulting, private equity, media, education, and consumer solutions, Abhishek brings a unique blend of strategic vision and operational expertise to guide OneAssist through its next phase of growth.
Abhishek most recently served as Senior Advisor, Private Equity at Blackstone, where he provided strategic insights on portfolio growth and value creation. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Aakash Educational Services Limited, where he successfully built omni-channel offerings that blended digital and hybrid platforms with a robust nationwide footprint to drive profitable growth.
Before joining Aakash, Abhishek had a distinguished career at The Walt Disney Company, where he spent over seven years in multiple leadership roles. He served as Country Head for Disney India, overseeing all businesses including media networks, theatricals, consumer products, gaming, and live entertainment, managing a team of over 400 professionals. Earlier, as VP & Head of Consumer Products, Corporate Strategy & Business Development, he played a critical role in expanding Disney’s consumer products and retail presence in India and SAARC countries.
Earlier in his career, Abhishek held investment leadership positions at Kubera Partners, a mid-market growth fund, and was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising clients in hi-tech, telecom, and industrial sectors across India, the US, and Europe. His career began with consulting roles at Atos Consulting Switzerland and a summer internship at Booz Allen Hamilton, followed by early technical experience at Valmet Automation Limited in Finland.
Abhishek holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was on the Dean’s List, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi.
