Mumbai, India, September 2025 — Siddharth Arya has joined Citi as Global Human Resources Business Partner, bringing with him nearly two decades of extensive experience in HR leadership across top financial institutions. In this role, he will focus on advancing strategic HR practices, talent management, and organizational development for Citi’s global and regional operations.
At Citi, Siddharth has already contributed in several key leadership roles, including HR Business Partner Team Lead Technology, Regional HR Lead Enterprise Technology APAC, and Head HR Citi Solution Center Mumbai, where he drove initiatives to strengthen HR delivery and talent strategies across geographies.
Before rejoining Citi in this elevated capacity, Siddharth served as Head HR – Finance, Risk, Legal, Audit & Compliance at Deutsche Bank, leading HR strategy for critical functions. His tenure at Standard Chartered Bank spanned multiple senior roles across India and Singapore, where he worked as Senior HR Business Partner for Corporate Finance & Coverage and earlier as Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for Wholesale Banking.
Earlier in his career, Siddharth contributed to building people strategies at YES BANK, where he led Human Capital Management initiatives, and at ICICI Bank, where he played a significant role in recruitment and talent acquisition across diverse business groups including Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, and Global Markets. His career foundation demonstrates depth in HR strategy, employee engagement, and leadership development.
An alumnus of the Welingkar Institute of Management, where he earned his PGDBM in Human Resources, and Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce, Siddharth is recognized for his ability to align HR strategies with business imperatives, making a lasting impact on organizations and their people.
